Brain injuries are like fingerprints; they are unique to the patient and their injury circumstances. Symptoms vary widely from mild headaches to outright memory loss and cognitive decline. No two injuries are the same. As such, your treatment plan must also be unique to you.
Our brain injury patients typically come to us after having suffered a sports injury, a blow to the head, or a traumatic motor vehicle accident. In some cases, the patient has sustained several repeat concussions or injuries. But regardless of the timing or severity of a brain injury, there is always hope and potential for improved functional outcomes.
In one visit, our doctors will determine the causes of your continued symptoms, and whether we can help you. Schedule your consultation today!

Concussion and TBI treatment begins with a comprehensive clinical neurologic examination, as well as a review/referral for imaging if deemed necessary. This allows the doctor to localize the sites of prominent injury that are causing your symptoms.
After clinical examination and review of findings, the doctor will write a treatment plan for you, derived from our rich curriculum of in-house therapies, as well as any co-management referrals to other specialties that you might benefit from.
A typical treatment plan for brain injury/concussion with TBFN involves (but is not limited to) a blend of ocular and vestibular therapy, cold laser, physical therapy, spinal manipulation, acupuncture, dietary and lifestyle interventions, biofeedback, and cognitive remediation. The patient pays one flat rate for all of these services together. A typical trial of care runs for 3-6 weeks in which the patient is treated 2-3 times/week. The majority of our patients experience notable improvement within the first 2 weeks.
TBFN is a direct-pay office. We accept cash, credit, debit, and HSA/FSA cards. We are also happy to provide our patients with superbills to submit to their insurance company for reimbursement. We do this to allow the doctor to spend the time necessary with patients for comprehensive care, and to guarantee our patients fair, flat rates for their care.
